Fresh Food as
Part of Better Health

The Garden Fresh program is a partnership between the Community Garden, the Garden Hub, and Duncan Regional Hospital. Through the program, doctors prescribe fresh produce to participating patients, helping increase access to healthier food choices and nutrition support.

How the Program Works

Each week, participants receive baskets filled with fresh vegetables, herbs, and fruits along with recipe ideas and meal inspiration. The program also creates opportunities for education, accountability, and community support through regular gatherings and wellness check-ins.
